Hawthorn has made four changes ahead of its Round 22 battle with Brisbane at the Gabba under Friday night lights.

An important trio are set to return from injury, with Ned Reeves and Karl Amon overcoming knee injuries, while Mitch Lewis has exited his concussion protocols after being sidelined last week.

Reeves will play his first game since Round 16 while Amon will suit up for the first time since Round 18. 

Sam Butler rounds out the Round 22 inclusions following a solid block of performances at VFL level, including just last week when he recorded three goals, 25 disposals, seven marks and five clearances.

He comes into the AFL side for the first time since Round 9. 

Ollie Greeves, Finn Maginness and Aidan Schubert have all been omitted for Friday night's clash, while Bailey Macdonald has been managed.
