Finn Maginness continued to showcase his versatility in 2025, playing primarily as a forward in addition to chipping in across the backline, wing and midfield. Thanks to his running power and competitiveness, Maginness continues to be one of the most reliable Hawks in Sam Mitchell’s team. His 50th AFL game made Hawthorn history in Gather Round, leading to his family becoming the first to have three consecutive generations play 50 or more games for the brown and gold, with grandfather Norm suiting up for 64 games between 1953 and 1958, and father Scott featuring in 131 matches between 1988 and 1996.
