Calsher Dear burst onto the scene in his first year at the elite level in 2024, booting 25 majors from 17 games. The son of Norm Smith Medallist, the late Paul Dear, had his second season curtailed by injury but still won the club’s Most Promising Player Award in 2025. In a special move, he will now wear his late father’s number 13 from 2026 onwards.
