Daily tickets to Hawks matches played at the MCG, Etihad and Aurora Stadium will go on sale to Club members first before going on sale to the general public.

Below is important information relating to each venue. We advise all members and supporters to be aware that ticketing conditions are likely to be different for each match depending on venue and demand for tickets.

The Member pre-sale dates listed above are for Reserved Seating only. This pre-sale is only available to members with entry entitlements to the match who do not have an allocated reserved seat.

Eligible members must quote the 12-digit barcode number on their 2014 membership card to access the member pre-sale and receive the discounted member upgrade price for Hawthorn matches at the above venues. The price is discounted as you have already purchased General Admission through your Hawthorn membership.

Mandatory reserved seating matches for all patrons

The AFL have classified two Hawthorn games as A-Reserved, meaning general admission access is not available and everyone attending must have a valid seat ticket

Members with general admission entitlements will be required to upgrade their membership to a daily seat.

These matches are:
Round 2: Essendon v Hawthorn, Etihad Stadium
Round 5: Geelong v Hawthorn, MCG (member replacement game)

The Club has again allocated four replacement games in 2014. They are:

Round 23: Collingwood v Hawthorn (A-Game)

I haven’t received my 2014 membership card yet. How do I get my 12-digit barcode number?

Our membership department can give this information to you over the phone. Call 1 3000 HAWKS (1300 042 957) to speak to one of our consultants.

How many tickets can I purchase?
Check Ticketek and Ticketmaster for their transaction limits.

Do I get access to replacement games?

All Hawthorn members are entitled to general admission access to replacement games, except for:

  • Tasmanian 4-game members
  • MCC Hawk members


Do I get access to the other Melbourne away games?
Members holding a 17-game (including juniors) and MCC Hawk 6-game membership are the only members with access to the away games at Etihad Stadium in Rounds 2 v Essendon and Round 16 v North Melbourne.

I’m a general admission member. Is my entry guaranteed?

No. Entry to all venues with a general admission membership is subject to capacity. There are two ways to guarantee your entry:

1.    Upgrade to a Reserved Seat 
2.    Upgrade to a daily reserved seat through Ticketek (MCG) or Ticketmaster (Aurora Stadium and Etihad Stadium).

I’m a reserved seat holder. How do I sit with friends that do not hold a reserved seat?

You will have to forego your reserved seat for this match and either:

•    Sit with them in General Admission or;
•    Upgrade to a daily reserved seat in their allocation

I’m an MCG reserved seat holder. Do I get a reserved seat for replacement games?

You are only entitled to a reserved seat at replacement games through your membership if you have purchased a replacement game reserved seat upgrade or if you are a Legends Club member.

Can I reserve a seat in a members-only area for away games as I have done previously?
No, members-only seating areas will not be available for away games unless stated otherwise in weekly match-day information articles.

I'm a Tasmanian member. Do I get access to games at the MCG?
Members that hold a 4-game Tasmanian membership do not get access to matches outside Tasmania (except Tassie Gold and Tassie Junior Hawk members).
