HATWHORN Captain Luke Hodge is free to play in Sunday’s clash with GWS after being cleared by the Match Review Panel on Monday.

The Hawks skipper came under scrutiny for a bump laid on Port Adelaide’s Chad Wingard in the second quarter of Saturday night’s loss but no action was taken.

The majority of the contact was made to the Power star’s shoulder before slightly making high contact.

The MRP contended that the force used was below that to constitute a reportable offence.

A free kick was paid against Hodge on the night.

The Hawks take on the Giants at the MCG on Sunday at 4.40pm.
