DEFENDER Grant Birchall is expected to take on the Sydney Swans, despite copping a knock against Fremantle on Saturday.
GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan says Birchall has recovered well.
“He was able to go back on after that knock,” Fagan said.
“He pulled up a little bit sore after the game, but he trained this morning and I think it’s got better as each day has gone by, so we expect him to be fully fit and available for Friday night.”
Fagan said Ryan Schoenmakers (groin), Jonathan O’Rourke (hamstring) and Zac Webster (hamstring) would all be tests this week, and also spoke about Luke Hodge’s recovery from knee surgery.
