Welcome to the finale of Finals Face Off.

We’ve seen some amazing plays across the past fortnight. From Bucky’s post-siren match winner in ’87 to Hodgey’s banana goal in ’15, there’s no doubt that Hawks fans have been spoilt over the years with plenty of unforgettable finals memories.

But, two plays have been regarded by fans as a cut above the rest, beating out fierce competition on the way to the Finals Face Off big dance.

Both players are fan favourites, both attack the game with a feverish intent that ignites the crowd and intimidates the opposition, and both brought their absolute ‘A game’ to the MCG on the 27th of September, 2008.

That’s right; both of our final two plays occurred during the drought-breaking 2008 grand final, and both happened simultaneously during the third quarter. Each of these men played a hand in preventing the Cats from enjoying ‘back to back’ glory, but now – you have to choose just one.

Stuart Dew’s spine tingling five minutes that turned the game on its head, or Cyril Rioli’s superhuman effort in outwitting three Cats to earn possession and steal momentum?
