Tom Mitchell has received his second MVP award of the season after a solid performance in a disappointing loss to the Gold Coast in Darwin on Saturday night.

The 28-year-old recorded a game-high 29 disposals and team-high eight contested possessions despite his team’s 67-point defeat against the Suns.

The reigning 2021 MVP winner continued his efficiency with a 72 per cent rate on his 29 possessions.

Mitchell also registered seven marks, four clearances and six tackles in difficult Darwin conditions.

The midfielder has averaged 27.2 disposals, 12.8 contested possessions and 6.1 clearances over 10 games this season.
