Watching the Hawks take to the field in the brown and gold is a special experience. As Hawthorn's AFLW team moves into a new era, with games at our brand-new home, Kennedy Community Centre in Dingley Village, alongside hosting a season-opener at IKON Park and a game up north at Cazalys Stadium, securing your spot in the crowd has never been more exciting.
In this guide, we will walk you through everything you need to know about buying official Hawthorn AFLW tickets; from choosing the right platform and understanding venue seating, to accessing digital tickets and leveraging membership perks.
1. Where to Buy Official Hawthorn AFLW Tickets
To ensure your tickets are valid, secure, and priced at official rates, always purchase directly through the AFL's official ticketing partners.
The authorised platform for all AFLW matches is Ticketmaster.
You can purchase Hawks AFLW tickets via Ticketmaster here.
At AFLW games, it is also popular to purchase tickets when you arrive on the day. This can be convenient, but also may make your entry to the ground slower. It is recommended to have your ticket pre-purchased and ready to go before the game.
Pro Tip: Avoid unauthorised third-party reseller websites, as scalped tickets may be invalidated at the entry gate. Purchase tickets via the official links provided on the Hawthorn AFLW Fixture Page to guarantee entry.
2. AFLW Ticket Categories & Stadium Levels
AFLW matches offer accessible, affordable, and flexible seating options designed for families, casual spectators and die-hard supporters alike.
General Admission (GA): The majority of tickets for AFLW home matches are categorised as General Admission (GA). GA grants you the freedom to choose your viewing spot on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reserved seats. It's your choice on where you spend the game. Sit on the grass hill at the Kennedy Community Centre, or grab a seat in open grandstands at IKON Park.
Understanding Venue Viewing Levels
🟤 Fence / Boundary Level: Puts your right at ground level next to the action! This is the best spot to feel the intensity of the tackles and interact with players after the final siren.
🟡 Elevated Grandstands (eg. IKON Park): Provides a higher, tactical perspective of the ground, giving you a comfortable spot to view team formations and long kicks across the field.

As a member, you can scan your digital membership card through the Hawthorn FC App directly at the gate for General Admission entry. 🟡 General Public: Non-members can purchase single-match entry passes directly when tickets go on sale to the general public. AFLW tickets are renowned for being budget-friendly, often offering discounted or free entry for children under 14.
4. Digital Ticketing & the Official Hawks App
All AFLW tickets and membership barcodes are 100% digital for fast, contactless entry.
How Digital Ticketing Works:
🟤 Ticketmaster Account: When you buy tickets online, save them directly to your smartphone's Apple Wallet or Google Wallet prior to arriving at the venue for an organised and fast way into the game. Ticketmaster ticket delivery information here.
🟡 Forwarding Tickets: If you are attending with family or friends, use the "Forward" feature inside your Ticketmaster account to send digital passes straight to their mobile devices.
🟤 Hawthorn FC Official App: Hawthorn AFLW Members can log into their 'MyHawks' profile via the official Hawthorn FC app to access their digital membership barcode for instant scanning upon entry. Download the Hawks app here.
