Nick Watson and Josh Weddle have been selected in the 2026 fan-voted AFL Players' Association 22under22.
Watson's selection comes amid an outstanding season, with 52 goals from his 20 games.
The 21-year-old is ranked equal-third in the league for goals per game and this year became the first player 170cm or shorter to kick 50+ goals in an AFL season since 1946.Â

Weddle's selection comes during his fourth season at the highest level, where he's averaged 15.6 disposals from his 19 games in 2026.
The 22-year-old has become an important cog in Hawthorn's line-up, showcasing his versatility all over the field.Â
