Hawthorn midfielder James Cousins is set to miss Hawthorn’s Round 7 clash with Melbourne, after being handed a one-match suspension for striking Carlton’s Sam Petrevski-Seton.

The incident, that occurred during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s match against Carlton, was deemed intentional conduct with low impact and high contact.

He can accept a one match sanction with an early plea.

The Hawks will make a decision tomorrow as to whether or not they challenge the sanction.
