Hawthorn is set to host Sydney in an ANZAC Day blockbuster at UTAS Stadium in 2022.

It will be the second year in a row that Hawthorn host an ANZAC clash in Tasmania following the club's thrilling three-point win over Adelaide earlier this year.

Hawthorn Chief Commercial Officer Ash Klein said the club was honoured to secure an ANZAC Day fixture in Tasmania.

"One of the club's desires for its 2022 fixture was to host an ANZAC Day clash at UTAS Stadium again, so we are delighted that that has been able to come to fruition," Klein said.

"Our club is honoured to play on ANZAC Day in front our Tassie family, we take much pride in paying our respects and upholding the ANZAC tradition."

"Launceston obviously holds a special place in the club's heart so to have this game as a headline act to our slate of games in Tassie next year is really pleasing."

The Swans' visit to Launceston will mark just the second time they have faced the Hawks at the venue - the first being in Round 5 2012.

In addition to its four Launceston home games in 2022, Hawthorn will also take on North Melbourne at Blundstone Arena in Round 19 in what will be the club's first ever trip to the Hobart ground.

"To play in Hobart for the first time in the club's history later in the season against the Kangaroos is something we're also really excited about," Klein said.
