Hawthorn ruckman Ned Reeves and forward Mitch Lewis will spend at least a week on the sidelines after both suffered injuries in Monday’s win against Geelong.

Reeves dislocated his right shoulder in the opening quarter.

Fortunately, scans have since revealed he has escaped serious damage, but his expected timeframe for a return is yet to be determined.

Lewis will also be unavailable to play in his side’s ANZAC Day clash after experiencing some hamstring tightness following the Geelong game.

Meanwhile in some good news, another brown and gold trio are set to be available for selection ahead of the Monday’s game against Sydney.

Lachlan Bramble is in contention to return for his first game of the season after injuring his foot during a pre-season practice game against Collingwood.

Young gun Will Day is on track to complete his concussion protocols in time for the clash after missing Easter Monday following an incident in Round 4.

Max Lynch will also be available for selection after returning from his concussion protocols and recovering from a recent anaphylactic reaction after being stung by a bee.

Chad Wingard will need to undergo a test after missing the past two games due to a calf injury.
