Debutant Jai Serong headlines three inclusions named to take on Gold Coast at UTAS Stadium on Saturday.

As announced earlier on Thursday, Serong is set to play his first AFL game after a string of promising performances at VFL level.

Denver Grainger-Barras has also been recalled to the side, while Jarman Impey returns after being managed last week.

Ben McEvoy has also been named ahead of his 250th game this weekend.

Head of Football Rob McCartney said the team was determined to deliver a strong performance this weekend after a disappointing outing against St Kilda last week.

There's a strong determination within our group to play more consistently throughout games,” McCartney said.

“Despite finals now being out of the question for us, we still have plenty to play for with an extremely popular clubman in Ben McEvoy playing a milestone game, while on the other end of the spectrum Jai Serong plays his first game of AFL footy.

“It's great to have Denver return after a week out. He is an important component of the young group that is emerging at our club, and we're keen for him to finish the season strongly.

“It’s also pleasing to welcome Jars back to the side. He is an emerging leader within our group and he will inject some experience into our young side."

Mitch Lewis will miss the clash after injuring his knee in last weekend's loss to St Kilda.

Josh Morris (shoulder), Changkuoth Jiath (suspended) and James Blanck (managed) are the other confirmed outs.
