This season is going to be about your ability to believe.
In fact, it started a little while ago. We made some tough decisions at the trade table at the end of last season. Believe that this is the right direction for our club to take in order to fast-track our return to premiership contention.
As with every young team – and we are the youngest in the land in 2023 – we will have games this season where we just don't quite click. Believe that these losses are lessons and that our players will grow from these moments.
Wins will happen too and they will be sweet. Believe that our playing group will become addicted to that feeling, a feeling that will drive them every week thereafter.
Believe in the direction of our new President, believe in the constant development of our coaching group and believe in the fresh leadership lens of our newly-anointed captain.
