Season summary:

An important part of Hawthorn’s future, Lewis continued his emergence in 2023. The key forward missed the first six games of the season due to a pre-season knee injury, but quickly highlighted his importance upon return. Despite missing a total of 13 games this season due to injury, Lewis kicked 36 goals for the year – the second highest of any Hawk. He also averaged career-highs in disposals (12.8), marks (5.7) and score involvements (6.4).

Best AFL game:

Lewis booted a career-high bag of six in Hawthorn’s 116-point thumping over West Coast in Round 10. Lewis led from the front as the big key forward cashed in on a dominant display by the brown and gold, racking up 24 disposals and also clunking eight marks.
