To celebrate Michael Tuck's historic career, Hawthorn has honoured him in its latest iteration of the Legends Guernsey.

Tuck's special jumper follows on from the success of the previous editions with John Kennedy Snr (2019), Peter Hudson (2022) and Leigh Matthews (2023).

In partnership with ISC, the 2024 Legends Guernsey celebrates the club's original 1925-1932 VFL jumper. Sporting the gold V on brown, it featured the fabled HFC monogram on the front along with Tuck's Legends emblem.

Speaking at the club this week, Tuck said he was thrilled to be honoured with the the commemorative guernsey.

"It's something that I thought would never happen to me, I feel very privileged," Tuck added.

"It's a great honour, there has been that many players for Hawthorn... I could think of a lot of people that could get it.

"So, it's very fortunate that it's coming to me."

The fourth in the collectable series, Hawthorn's Legends Guernseys are about honouring the club's rich history while paying tribute to each of the most influential figures within the brown and gold.

Tuck holds the club record for the most senior games (426), most finals (39), most grand finals (11) and most premierships (7).

He was appointed captain in 1986 leading the team to four premierships, while finishing second in the best and fairest seven times.

Tuck formed part of the feared ruck combination with Don Scott and Leigh Matthews, who fuelled much of the club’s success.

The guernsey is available from HawksNest now in adults and kids sizing.
