A quartet of Hawks have polled coaches votes following their performances in Hawthorn's five-point win over St Kilda on Saturday afternoon at University of Tasmania (UTAS) Stadium.

Jai Newcombe led the way with nine votes after recording a game-high 31 disposals to go with eight clearances, seven tackles and four score involvements.

Silk-Miller medallist Karl Amon was ranked next best by the coaches with seven votes. 

The 28-year-old also recorded 31 disposals and was able to back that up with 711 metres gained, 11 rebound 50s, seven marks and four score involvements. 

Amon and Impey teamed up well throughout the day, with the latter receiving three votes for his efforts.

Impey's game included 22 disposals, 471 metres gained and seven marks. 

Fellow defender Jack Scrimshaw rounded out the votes with two. 

Scrimshaw was a stalwart in the backline throughout the day, finishing with 16 disposals at 100 per cent efficiency.

He backed that up with eight intercept possessions, seven marks and five tackles.

Hawthorn will now aim for three straight wins when it travels to Adelaide Oval on Sunday afternoon to play its first 2024 Sir Doug Nicholls Round match against Yartapuulti (Port Adelaide).
