Hawthorn Captain James Sicily has become the fourth Hawk to poll maximum coaches' votes in as many weeks, following in the footsteps of Will Day (10 votes in Round 13), Dylan Moore (10 votes in Round 12) and James Worpel (10 votes in Round 11).

Sicily's dominant performance saw him record 33 disposals (including 28 kicks), 15 marks and 10 intercept possessions in the Hawks' 48-point win over Richmond at the MCG.

The star defender sliced his way through the field by hand and foot, going at 81.8% efficiency, while also totalling 881 metres gained.

The coaches judged hard-nosed midfielder Jai Newcombe as the next best player on the ground with eight votes.

Newcombe kicked a goal to go with his 26 disposals, eight marks and four clearances in an impressive midfield display.

A key forward and a defensive duo rounded out the votes for the Hawks with three each, as Mabior Chol, Josh Weddle and Jack Scrimshaw all earned recognition for their respective outings.

Chol booted a match-high four goals to complement his four marks and strong forward pressure, playing a key role in the victory.

Weddle and Scrimshaw starred for the Hawks in defence, with Weddle's run-and-carry seeing him tally 23 touches and seven marks, while Scrimshaw was dominant through the air with 10 marks and 16 disposals, including seven intercept possessions.
