High Performance Manager Aaron Kellett provided an update on Casey Sherriff’s rehab progress and detailed the approach on how the club will manage the load of the upcoming condensed fixture.
“Like most clubs through the contested part of our fixture, we’ll continue to make some pragmatic decisions around how we’re managing our playing resources,” Kellett said.
“We have a four-day turnaround after this fixture, so no doubt there’ll be some information we’ll use to sort of guide our decision making ongoing.
“But at this stage we’re really fortunate that we’ve only got one on our injury list currently.”
Casey Sherriff (Leg/Ankle) – TBC
“Casey’s progressing really well, last week I spoke about her increasing her range of motion in her ankle, that’s continued to progress. Three weeks post-surgery she’s been able to start her return to run program and she ran on the AlterG (anti-gravity) treadmill yesterday for the first time. Calf strength has continued to improve, ankle range of motion as I said is improving, so making really really positive steps with Casey’s return to play.”
