Hawthorn forward Connor Macdonald had his best game of the year, securing Superhero of the Week for his performance in the Hawks' Round 11 loss to Brisbane.

The 22-year-old booted a team-high three goals from his 20 disposals, with the first major coming in the opening term and the next couple coming in quarter two.

As well as his own four scoring shots, Macdonald had seven score involvements and took an equal game-high 10 marks.

The Hawks will look to bounce back on Friday night when they take on Collingwood at the MCG.
