Dear Hawks faithful, 

Ahead of our finals campaign last year, I wrote to you about one of the most critical off-field ventures in our club’s history - the vital capital campaign to ensure our new home at the Kennedy Community Centre has absolutely everything our players need to win our club’s next premiership. 

With the move to our new Dingley headquarters now just months away, I write to you again with another very important message – which could dramatically shape our club’s future for generations to come. 

From 8pm tonight, Tuesday 27 May, we are rallying the entire Hawthorn family for a special 24-hour fundraiser to strengthen our club’s position to win its next premiership...and more.  

Every dollar will be critical to ensuring the Kennedy Community Centre has all the pieces our players and coaches need to achieve the ultimate success.  

Thanks to our generous matching donors, EVERY donation made across the 24 hours will be matched and multiplied by FOUR. That means $50 becomes $200, or $500 becomes $2,000, and so on. 

We know how loyal and generous our brown and gold faithful are and have accordingly set an audacious fundraising target of $2million in 24 hours. 

But please know, we cannot achieve this goal without your support – this is going to take the entire Hawthorn family. 

Our new home at the Kennedy Community Centre will transform our football club into the future, and we need to play our part to ensure Hawthorn remains the most successful club in the modern era.  

It’s time to fly Hawks family. And we cannot wait to have you with us as we lift the cup once again.
