While there’s plenty happening on the field this August, there’s just as much happening behind the scenes, as the club quickly approaches its imminent move to the Kennedy Community Centre in the coming months.

The club is nearing the handover from its builder ADCO and will begin the transition to Dingley once final touches are completed in September.

This includes the delivery and installation of new gym equipment and furniture throughout the Harris High Performance Centre, along with the final curation of our beloved treasures and artefacts within the Hawks Museum, which has taken many busy months of planning from the club's passionate and talented Museum staff.

With the final fit out of the Hawks Nest retail store nearing completion, the last of the civil works on the public pathways and carpark surfacing is also taking place.

To be at this stage is a very significant milestone, as Hawthorn prepares to embark upon a landmark period for our football club.

As the club as said all along, the Kennedy Community Centre will be a home for the entire Hawthorn family, for generations to come. The club cannot wait to share this amazing new facility with its members in the months ahead.

Hawthorn will be providing several opportunities to its members and fans to tour and visit the site, so stay tuned.
