Dylan Moore is set to delight the Hawthorn faithful for several seasons to come after putting pen to paper on a multi-year contract extension.
With the Hawthorn Vice-Captain already contracted for next year, the new four-year deal extends Moore's commitment to the club through until the end of 2030.
Moore’s rapid rise as one of the league’s most damaging forward-midfield dynamos was suitably highlighted by his selection in the 2024 All Australian team, just four years from being on the brink of delisted.
Since Moore’s sliding-doors moment at the end of 2020, he has missed just two matches, whilst averaging 19.1 disposals and better than a goal per game during that span.
Adding to Moore’s elite durability and consistency is the fact that he’s been held goalless in just 14 of his past 54 games.
Hawthorn National Recruiting and List Manager Mark McKenzie said Moore’s signature was great news for Hawks fans.
“A player of Dylan’s calibre is a rare commodity in our league, he’s averaged almost 20 disposals and a goal a game over such a long period of time now, making him an incredibly important piece of our club,” McKenzie said.

“The way that Dylan has transformed himself into one of the truly elite players is a testament to his ultra-competitiveness and hunger for success – he’s the sort of person that makes his teammates walk taller.
“When you add in Dylan’s growing leadership capabilities, it highlights just how crucial he is to our overall make up, and we are very excited about what he can deliver for our club in the years to come.”
