Hawthorn ruck Lucy Wales’ performance against Geelong on Thursday night saw her secure a perfect 10 votes from the coaches.

Three other Hawks’ efforts were also recognised in Áine McDonagh, Eliza West and Tilly Lucas-Rodd.

Wales collected a career-high and equal game-high 27 disposals, of which 13 were contested.

She also managed a game-high 16 hitouts, laid seven tackles, had seven intercept possessions and took five marks and five clearances.

Next highest to poll were McDonagh and West, each with five votes.

McDonagh booted an equal game-high two majors from 14 disposals, and took seven marks.

West had an equal game-high 27 disposals, a game-high seven clearances and laid six tackles.

Tilly Lucas-Rodd was the other Hawk to poll two votes for their performance, which saw them finish with 24 disposals, nine marks and four intercept possessions.
