Round 9 saw four Hawks poll coaches’ votes in the clash with the Gold Coast Suns at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Áine McDonagh was the highest polling Hawk, with nine votes.

The star forward finished with an equal game-high three goals from seven scoring shots, as well as her game-high nine score involvements, 12 disposals and seven contested possessions.

Eliza West was the next Hawk to poll with five votes.

The stand-in skipper collected an equal team-high 18 disposals, an equal team-high eight tackles, seven contested possessions and four score involvements.

Lucy Wales was again dominant in the ruck, earning herself three votes from the coaches.

The 22-year-old finished with 20 hitouts, an equal team-high 18 disposals, 12 of those contested, as well as seven intercept possessions.

Kaitlyn Ashmore also polled two votes for her two goals, 15 disposals, seven intercept possessions and five marks performance.
