Nat Exon will make her Hawthorn debut this weekend, after being named as a top up player for the remainder of the 2025 season.

The versatile 32-year-old most recently lined up for Box Hill in the VFLW in 2025, playing all 17 games, including three finals.

Exon is no stranger to the elite level, starting her career with Carlton in the AFLW’s inaugural season in 2017, where she featured in the league’s maiden match.

She then made a move to Brisbane the following year, playing 14 games across two seasons, before joining St Kilda in 2020, where she added a further 34 games across six seasons.

Hawthorn General Manager of Football Operations Max Bailey said Exon has earned this opportunity to face the Bombers this weekend.

“It’s great to have a player of Nat’s experience joining our group,” said Bailey.

She’s been part of our VFLW side and has been a train-on player all year with us, so we’re excited for her to now come into the side for the Round 11 clash with Essendon."
