Hawthorn has farewelled Kristy Stratton and Nat Exon after they were informed that they will not be offered contracts for the 2026 season.

Stratton arrived at Hawthorn with Pick 18 in the Season 8 supplementary draft. She went on to play 17 games in the brown and gold across three seasons, kicking seven goals.

Exon joined Hawthorn from Box Hill in the VFLW as a top up player earlier this year. The 32-year-old made her Hawthorn debut in Round 11 against Essendon, going on to play three games for the year.

Hawthorn AFLW General Manager Keegan Brooksby acknowledged both players for their contribution to the club.

“We thank Kristy and Nat for their dedication and service to Hawthorn during their time with the Club,” Brooksby said.

“This can be a difficult time of year, but they will both always be remembered as Hawthorn players.

“On behalf of the club, I’d like to wish Kristy and Nat well in their future endeavours.”
