Hawthorn has welcomed Jacqueline Dupuy from the Gold Coast Suns on the final day of the 2025 AFLW Trade Period.

In securing Dupuy, the Club parted ways with a future third-round selection (2026), tied to Brisbane.

Dupuy joins the Hawks after five seasons with the Gold Coast Suns. The talented key forward has played 49 games after making her debut in Round 1 of 2022 (Season 6).

The 31-year-old has kicked 37 goals across her career to date, booting an equal career-best three majors against Hawthorn in Round 9 of 2025, as well as 14 disposals and five marks.

Dupuy brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Hawks, having served as co-vice captain of the Suns in 2023, just two seasons after joining the list as an inactive player replacement.

Hawthorn General Manager of AFLW Keegan Brooksby said the club was delighted to welcome Dupuy.

“We’re excited to welcome Jacqui to the Hawks after she nominated us as her destination of choice to continue her career,” Brooksby said.

“With five seasons under her belt at the top level, Jacqui is an experienced player who brings plenty of leadership to Hawthorn, in addition to her versatility and elite aerial ability.

“We’re very confident she will be an important part of our group in 2026 and beyond.”
