Last time we met

Hawthorn (87) defeated Port Adelaide (49) in Round 19, 2025.

Hawthorn scrapped its way to a 38-point win over Port Adelaide in slippery and wet conditions at UTAS Stadium.

The Hawks played the torrential conditions to perfections, limiting the Power’s impact when they kicked with the breeze and taking full advantage when it was their turn.

Veterans Jack Gunston and Jarman Impey booted three goals each, while Dylan Moore was equally superb in the victory, collecting 32 disposals, two goals and nine tackles.

Mitch Lewis returned, 378 days since he last played at the top level after rupturing his ACL in July of 2024.

What’s On

It’s Hawthorn’s Inclusion Match, made possible by Variety to promote inclusion in the AFL.

Pre-game will see a round of Hawks Trivia and DJ Karl echoing around the stadium. Quarter time hosts the Superhero Kick for Cash, with future footy stars taking to the field for the half-time Auskick games, as well as Hawka and Hawkette Hide N Seek, before three quarter-time's KFC activation.

This match also celebrates the diverse cultural heritage that strengthens Australian football, through the AFL’s Cultural Heritage Series. The Series acknowledges the many stories and contributions that have shaped Australian football, highlights the communities involved in the game today and supports pathways for future generations to participate and connect through football. Find more information on Cultural Heritage Series HERE.
