Hawthorn has made five changes for its ANZAC Day match against the Gold Coast SUNS at UTAS Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

As confirmed by Sam Mitchell on Thursday morning, premiership forward Jack Gunston will return to the side after missing last week's three-point victory with a corked calf.

He will be joined in the team by Jack Dalton, Finn Maginness, Harry Morrison and Jack Scrimshaw.

James Sicily and Dylan Moore have been ruled out through suspension, Sam Butler and Flynn Perez will be managed, while Will McCabe has been omitted.

Up forward, Nick Watson has also been named for his 50th AFL match.

The Hawks will play off for the Alec Campbell Cup, in memory of all those who have served in the Australian and New Zealand armed forces. Alec Campbell was the world’s last Gallipoli veteran, a local boy from Launceston, and a proud Tasmanian.
