Hawthorn young gun Connor Macdonald has been voted the equal-best player on the ground in the Club's draw with Collingwood in Round 8. 

Macdonald kicked an equal game-high three goals, tallied 28 disposals, took seven marks and had nine score involvements. 

Jai Newcombe and Massimo D'Ambrosio also caught the eyes of the coaches, polling four votes each. 

Newcombe kicked a major to go with his 27 disposals, game-high 11 score involvements and game-high eight clearances.

D'Ambrosio also hit the scoreboard with the first goal of the match, complementing his 23 disposals, 10 score involvements and six marks.

Nick Watson rounded out the votes with two for his pair of majors, 15 disposals and five score involvements.
