With the smell of finals footy in the air as the calendar ticked over to 1 September, the Hawks launched its finals campaign for season 2014 on Monday morning.

Inspired by a speech delivered by Coach Alastair Clarkson ahead of last year's Preliminary Final against Geelong, it focuses on the moments that have combined to deliver the Hawks to this year's finals and played a role in Hawthorn qualifying in second position on the ladder.

#everymoment will be the hashtag used by the Club on Twitter and Instagram throughout the finals series and fans are encouraged to share their favourite moment of the season and to engage with the club through words and images by using the hashtag.

After defeating Collingwood in the final home and away game before finals on Friday night, the Hawks spent most of Monday finishing their recovery in preparation for the Qualifying Final against Geelong.

The day began though, with a media conference to launch the 2014 Finals Series, with Coach Alastair Clarkson and Luke Hodge heading to Fox Sports studios to discuss Hawthorn's finals campaign. There, Hodge declared he is fit and ready to face the Cats on Friday night.

Back at the club from midday, Hodge joined his teammates for a weights session in the gym.

The players completed their tailored program in different groups as the music pumped in the weights room to get the boys motivated.
