Emma Mackie

“Our skipper was strong in the contest and really got us going in the second half.” PH

Steph Carroll

“Some good work in the midfield was capped off with an outstanding goal late in the last quarter.” PH

Chantella Perera

“Chantella put the brakes on AFLW superstar Chloe Malloy, keeping her to just one goal.” PH

Bec Beeson

“Returning from a long layoff, Bec was very busy up forward, showing a clean pair of hands as she set up many attacking moves.” PH

Tahni Nestor

“Tahni remains a consistent performer on the outside, giving us run and drive through the wings.” PH

Ebony Nixon

“Ebony was very strong overhead and nullified the influence of Collingwood’s small forwards.” PH

Olivia Flanagan

“Liv was our best-performing midfielder on the day. Her top end speed troubled the Pies on many occasions as she continued to break free from stoppages. Liv amassed a season high 15 touches, seven tackles and six clearances to be this week’s MVP.” PH

Cassandra Papadopoulos

“Cassie again played her role, nullifying Collingwood's high half forwards. Her skills by foot are great to watch as is her attack on the footy.” PH

Jess Richards Foster

“A tough day for the forwards but Jess' team-first attitude and strong defensive skills were evident as the match progressed.” PH

Lou Wotton

“Battled like a soldier all day long in her 200th game. We were disappointed we couldn't get the win for her.” PH

Lauren Costello

“Back from a long layoff with injury, Lauren performed her role well, helping a strong defensive unit keep the Pies to just eight shots on goal.”

Pepa Randall

“Pepa was tasked with curbing the influence of AFLW star Jamiee Lambert while she was in the forward line. Pepa kept her goalless and provided plenty of run and carry out of the back half.” PH

Tamara Luke

“Like Lou Wotton, Tam battled gallantly against a taller pair of ruckman and provided a good contest up forward.” PH

Meg Hutchins

“Meg played multiple roles throughout the day and helped stabilize the outside after the Pies dominated that area early.” PH

Sarah Perkins

“On a tough day for our forwards, Sarah displayed clean hands all day and helped bring team mates into the game with some one-touch gathers and a quick handball.” PH

Kara Henderson

“Kara continues to learn her craft. While she didn't see a lot of action, her quick hands to team mates under pressure was outstanding on the day.” PH

Jess Sibley

“Jess was given the task of minding Collingwood's tallest forward and managed to keep her quiet most of the day. Her voice and instruction continue to improve, and she has become a real leader in the backline.” PH

Kim Ebb

“Kim played both on the outside and down back. Her speed and agility helped her break free on several occasions and her defensive skills were strong.” PH

Emily Gilder

“Emily kicked our first goal with some excellent tackling pressure resulting in a free kick right in front of goals.” PH

Ali Dowler

“Ali provided a good target down forward and kicked the goal of the day late in the game to draw us to within 7 points.” PH

Clare O’Donnell

“Clare's toughness at the contest and her defensive efforts were a stand out on Saturday.” PH

Jayde Van Dyk

“One of our better performers on the day, Jayde looked like her old self, marking strongly in the air and providing plenty of rebound off half back.” PH

Belle Price

“Belle acquitted herself well on debut and didn't look out of place at all.” PH
