Hawthorn Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Hudson to its Board of Directors.
 
Katie is currently the Executive Director of Yarra Capital Management and has over 20 years of experience in investment markets. Prior to taking on her current role at Yarra Capital Management, she was a portfolio manager and managing director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a committed Hawthorn member.
 
Hawthorn President Jeff Kennett said the club was thrilled by Katie's appointment and would benefit greatly from her expertise and knowledge.

 
“Katie is a committed Hawthorn member and a member of our Investment Management Committee, and we are incredibly lucky to have her join our Board,” Kennett said.
 
“Katie’s experience will be valuable, not only in our development of the Kennedy Community Centre, but also in ensuring Hawthorn remains financially independent and strong."

Katie joins the Board to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Linda Kristjanson in late 2018.
 
She has a strong historical tie to the Hawthorn Football Club, with her father Reg Poole playing in Hawthorn’s first premiership side in 1961.
