What to expect

Collingwood's modus operandi this year has been to own possession of the football, more so than any other team in the competition.

The Magpies rank first in the league for disposals and average almost 10 more uncontested possessions than the next best team.

Nathan Buckley's side is content with simply keeping the ball out of the opposition's hands, even if it means taking the sting out of the game.

But their disposal dominance doesn't go to waste, the Pies also rank first for inside 50s per match.

They may not be the highest scoring side in the competition, but the sheer quantity of these entries is what has proven to drive the Pies to a likely top-four finish.

Player to watch

No player in the competition is averaging more disposals per game this year than Adam Treloar. Going at 33.4 possessions per outing, Treloar is especially influential on the outside, being one of just seven players to average at least 20 uncontested possessions in 2019.
