Hawthorn will travel West to take on the Eagles in the final round of the 2026 home and away season.

In their second clash at Optus Stadium this season, the Hawks will look to secure a 15th win and a spot in the top four ahead of the finals.

Coming off a draw with Collingwood in Round 23, Hawthorn now sits 4th on the ladder with 14 wins, two draws and six losses, while West Coast are four wins and 18 losses to sit 16th on the ladder.

The game has added significance with veteran Hawk Jack Gunston set to line up for his 300th game, while Mitch Lewis and Lloyd Meek will each play game 100.

Last time we met 

Hawthorn (124) defeated West Coast (74) in Round 7, 2025. 

Hawthorn was well led by Mabior Chol (three goals, nine marks) and Jack Gunston (four goals) in their 50-point victory.

Josh Battle and James Sicily were strong in defence with 29 disposals, seven marks and 23 disposals, nine intercept possessions respectively.

Henry Hustwaite (24 disposals) and Harry Morrison (22 disposals, one goal) were busy, while Lloyd Meek had a mammoth 57 hitouts.

Jack Ginnivan returned to the AFL side after two weeks in the VFL, bringing his flair in attack to finish with two goals, 17 disposals and seven tackles.
