Hawthorn is hunting for its first win at home this Saturday afternoon, as it host the Western Bulldogs at the Kennedy Community Centre in Round 5.
The Hawks sit 2-2 from four games, with wins over Port Adelaide and Collingwood, to sit eighth on the ladder.
While the Bulldogs are sixth at 3-1 for the season thus far, having only lost to the reigning premier North Melbourne, while enjoying wins over the Suns, Tigers and Swans.
Saturday’s match marks another milestone match, with Tamara Smith set to play her 50th AFLW match. An inaugural Hawk, Smith becomes the first Hawthorn AFLW player to have played 50 games in the brown and gold.

Hawthorn (14) defeated Western Bulldogs (10) in Round 3, 2025.
Hawthorn continued its undefeated run in 2025, with a four-point win over the Western Bulldogs at Whitten Oval.
Hawthorn held up well during the Bulldogs strong first term, led by Jenna Richardson (16 disposals, five tackles) in her first game back from a hamstring issue.
The Hawks gained ascendency in the second quarter, with Mackenzie Eardley slotting the Hawks first of the night and her first of the season, with a high, thumping kick.
The Hawks were unable to convert their inside 50s to scoring shots, but held up well defensively, to run out the game.

Back at home for Round 5!
Gates to the Kennedy Community Centre open from 11am, with an all girls superkick clinic to kick off the day at 11.30am. The Hawks will run onto the field from 12.51pm, with the game set to kick off at 1.05pm. Quarter time sees the Nature Valley kicking competition and at three-quarter time the KFC bucket challenge before boundary club and kick-to-kick post-match.

KCC Sensory Space
Facilitated by the Inclusion Project, made possible by Variety – The Children’s Charity VIC.
The Inclusion Project will be located in the Community Pavilion. The Inclusion Project Sensory Space provides fans with sensory processing differences a quiet and low sensory place to retreat and recharge away from the stress and stimulation of a live event. It includes dimmed lighting, comfort items and a love screening of the event, with an occupational therapist in site to provide personalised support. This support is available from gate opening until the end of the match and can be accessed before, after and during the match.
Inclusion Project Officers will also be at main entrances and roaming around the ground to assist during the match if required.

There are a variety of different options available for anyone who is travelling to our Hawks games in Dingley Village to make it easy to enjoy the game.
Public Transport
🟤 Take the Pakenham or Cranbourne line train to Springvale Station.
🟡 Catch the Route 811 bus (Dandenong - Brighton via Springvale) from the station.
🟤 Disembark along Tootal Road / McClure Road, which drops you near the entrance to the Kennedy Community Centre.
Alternative Bus Routes: Route 811 also runs through Mentone, Springvale, and Dandenong, connecting with Mentone Station (Frankston Line) and Dandenong Station.

For AFLW matches, on-site parking fills quickly. Event staff manage entry and overflow parking areas, but using public transport or rideshare may be more convenient for big fixtures.
