Hawthorn has named Chad Wingard to make his debut for the club against North Melbourne on Sunday.

Wingard will boost the Hawks line-up as they look to get back on the winners’ list following their loss to the Bulldogs last week.

GM - Football Graham Wright said the club was excited to see Wingard in the brown and gold for the first time.

“It’s obviously going to be very exciting to see Chad run out for the Hawks on Sunday,” Wright said.

“He is a proven player of the competition and we look forward to seeing how he will help our forward dynamic.”

Shaun Burgoyne and Liam Shiels are the only confirmed omissions from the squad, with the pair both suffering hamstring injuries in Round 2.

Small forward Dylan Moore has again been named in the extended squad as he continues to pursue his senior debut for the Hawks.

David Mirra, Conor Glass, Kaiden Brand and Mitchell Lewis have also been included in the squad as they eye off a return to the senior side.
