In the final round of the VFLW home and away season one Hawk stood out amongst the rest.

Sarah Perkins continued her strong form late in the season by kicking three of her team’s four goals against Collingwood on a day when scores were hard to come by.

Perkins kicked six goals and averaged 11 disposals in her last four appearances for the Hawks, juggling her time between the ruck and up forward in what was an impressive finish to her 2019 campaign.

“Sarah finished the season strongly playing in the midfield and up forward,” said VFLW coach Paddy Hill.

“Three goals was a good return for her efforts.”

Unfortunately the Round 16 loss to Collingwood means that Hawthorn missed out narrowly on finals finishing in seventh place on the ladder.
