The Hawthorn VFLW team will be looking to build on its resounding win over the Western Bulldogs last week as the side strengthens its position in the top four.
The Hawks sit in fourth place currently but trail Richmond by two wins for third spot.
Their next challenge comes in the form of a grand final rematch against Geelong, a side that similarly hasn’t quite found its previous season’s level in 2019.
Coach Patrick Hill has made four changes ahead of the clash, with the likes of Phoebe McWilliams (rested) and Pip Peschke (knee) forcing his hand.
Hawthorn will host Geelong at Box Hill City Oval on Saturday at 11.30am.
In what promises to also be a hard-fought contest, Box Hill will then take on Geelong in an important fixture for both sides.
The Cats are currently in seventh spot, one ahead of the Hawks in eighth.
With the likes of the Casey Demons and the Northern Blues bearing down on that final position in the eight, every game for the remainder of the season will be of an utmost importance to the Hawks.
The Hawks will be boosted by the returns of Jarryd Roughead and Marc Pittonet after they spent a week on the sidelines, while Jon Ceglar will also line up for Box Hill after being left out of the senior side.
