Hawthorn’s VFL and VFLW sides are preparing for their last double header of the season, with both sides set to face the Cats this Saturday at Box Hill City Oval.

The action will kick off at 11.30am with the VFLW match, followed by the VFL at 2pm.

Supporters are encouraged to bring the family along, with a range of kids activities planned for the day.

Budget, a proud sponsor of the Hawks' VFL and VFLW sides, will be holding a Guess to Win Competition ahead of the women’s game. Guess how many Sherrins are in the Budget car boot and answer a VFLW trivia question, for your chance to win two tickets to the Peter Crimmins Medal and a photo with Hawthorn's premiership cups.

After getting the better of their respective ladder-leaders last weekend - the Box Hill men over Casey, and the Hawthorn women over NT - hopes for a double chance in finals remain well and truly alive for both teams.

Box Hill currently sit sixth, just one win and .8 percent away from the top four. This week’s opponent Geelong, currently third, is a chance to pinch the minor premiership with a win this weekend.

Hawthorn’s VFLW side is also third on the ladder, with a top two position needed to cement a double chance. Geelong is hot on their heels, just two points behind.

The winner will jump into second place on the ladder, and will be guaranteed to make it through to at least Week 2 of the 2018 VFLW finals.
