Hawthorn has named a near-full strength side ahead of its final Marsh Community Series match against the Demons.

James Sicily, Shaun Burgoyne and Conor Glass have made the trip to Launceston after missing Hawthorn’s opening Marsh Series clash, while Ben McEvoy (corked thigh), Blake Hardwick (peck) and Ricky Henderson (rested) will make way.

GM-Football Graham Wright says the club will use the game as a dress rehearsal for the season proper, with Round 1 just over two weeks away.

“Aside from a few notable omissions, we’ll field quite a strong side against the Demons this weekend.

“The Demons been in solid form in their last two pre-season games, so the hit-out will hopefully give us an indication of how we are placed ahead of Round 1.”
