Josh Gibson has been cleared by the Match Review Panel for an incident during the Hawks' win over the Lions on Saturday.

Gibson went to lay a tackle on Lions player Michael Close during the third quarter, the Match Review Panel judged the collision as a legitimate tackle attempt.

Josh Gibson is available for selection in what will be his 150th AFL match, if selected.
