Missed you, O'Meara

Jaeger O'Meara's return to the Hawks line-up was a much-anticipated one and the explosive midfielder did not let his fans down. O'Meara was one of the most influential players on the ground, collecting 23 disposals, five marks, three tackles and a goal.

The big man gets low

Jonathon Ceglar was another key contributor for the Hawks on Thursday night, clearly winning the ruck battle whilst also having a notable impact around the ground. But his best moment of the game was this bone-crunching tackle he laid that saw him rewarded with an important goal to cap off an outstanding opening term by the Hawks.

Speedy Smith

Another man who had an awesome night last Thursday was Isaac Smith. The running man was unstoppable against the Tigers, especially in the opening half where he helped the Hawks put a gap on their opposition. He had a number of good moments throughout the night, but this goal was indisputably the cream of the crop.
