The Hawthorn family and broader football community will have the opportunity to farewell AFL and club Legend John Kennedy Senior via a webcast of his funeral on Thursday morning at 11am.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the number of physical attendees at the funeral is strictly limited, however the Kennedy family hope this stream allow many more people to join in the celebration of John’s life.

Hawthorn hopes as many of its family as possible can come together, albeit virtually, to celebrate the life and legacy of John Kennedy Snr; the man in the brown overcoat, with a heart of gold, whose legacy will be passed down from generation to generation of the Hawthorn family.
