Jarman Impey has pulled up well following his first hit out in almost 12 months.

The defender played three quarters of Hawthorn’s scratch match against GWS and emerged unscathed, according the Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd.

“He’s pulled up really well, so we’ll look to increase his game time this week and we’ll see where we go from there,” Boyd told Hawthorn’s injury recovery report.

Jonathon Patton is set for a month of the sidelines after injuring his hamstring in Friday night’s loss to Collingwood.

Despite an emotional reaction to the injury during the game, Patton is now in high spirits and eager to commence his rehab.

“It actually feels pretty good considering I’ll be out for the next four weeks,” Patton said.

“I can pretty much walk around pain free now, so hopefully this week I can have a light jog.”

Mitch Lewis is hoping to be available for this Sunday’s game, however it’s not a hamstring injury he’s recovering from as initially thought.

“After assessing the scans we had done early last week, it came up that his hamstring was clear and that it’s actually a hip rotator right up towards the base of his glute,” Boyd said.

“We’ll put him through his paces with some skill work this week and if he can get through that, he’ll be available to play.”
