Hawthorn's match committee are set to go back to the drawing board this week as the side looks to put an end to a three-game losing streak.

The Hawks face the Swans at the SCG on Saturday in the club's final game in Sydney and would dearly love to finish its stint in New South Wales with a win.

While the senior side has endured a form slump, fans can take some solace from the fact the Hawks reserves have been in red-hot form.

Jarman Impey's progress in his return from a knee reconstruction has been of great interest to the Hawks faithful in recent weeks.

The dashing defender has been able to rediscover his running game quickly upon his return and will be awaiting to see whether the coaching and medical staff of the Hawks consider his preparation ample for senior selection.

Harry Jones was again a stand-out for the Hawks in their win over Sydney in the reserves scratch match on Saturday.

Jones picked up game-highs of 27 possessions and seven tackles, with Development Coach Andy Otten commending the midfielder on his attitude since being omitted from the senior side following his debut.

Oliver Hanrahan is another who has had a taste of senior action this year and ensured his level of play remained at a high standard on Saturday.

He finished with 23 disposals and two goals and could provide a similar offensive spark to the senior side's forward half.

Michael Hartley is yet to have a run at AFL level for the Hawks but is doing everything right at the reserves level.

Hartley was assigned the difficult task of keeping experienced Swans forward Sam Reid quiet on Saturday and was able to do just that.

Another strong outing from Dylan Moore on the weekend will also have raised the attention of the Hawks coaching staff.

Moore booted a team-high three goals and looked dangerous with each of his 21 touches on the day.

So, the Hawks selection panel will certainly not be without its options as it looks to compile a 22 capable of knocking over the Swans on the weekend and getting the side's season back on track.
