While 2020 has been a tough year in many ways, there is one thing that's keeping Hawks supporters full of optimism and hope for the future, and that's the emergence of Will Day.

After another fantastic performance against the Eagles, Day has been voted by fans as our United Petroleum MVP for the second time this season.

Day was a workhorse in defence, finishing the evening with 15 pressure acts, five intercept possessions and a team-high eight marks. Not bad for sixth-gamer.

In his first month and a half of AFL football, Day has averaged 16 disposals, five marks and 3.2 rebound 50s in reduced game time.
