Wotton's VFLW warning

Catherine Brown

"Catherine was an elite clearance winner on the weekend for the Hawks. She really held down her position well and made a great impact for the team. She is performing really strongly for the side at the moment."

Nicole Cormack

"She really stood up in moments of pressure and fought on hard right til the end. She was just that continual source of pressure at all contests she appeared in so we really valued her output on the weekend."

Meg Hutchins

"Meg was the most reliable defender for us all day. She was responsible for the large majority of our rebound 50s which all set us up really well to score. She took some great contested marks as well."

Kate Dudley

"She probably had her strongest game so far this season against the Bombers. She took some good grabs and used her body really well against a strong opposition ruck."

Lauren Szigeti

"Lauren was our best inside mid of the day. She really focussed on her positioning at the stoppages this week and made an effort of striking first. We really liked what we saw out of her."
